Thanks to Maarten for this information :
" I was at the show, but don't know the names of the band. I read in a Dutch magazine at the time that they were Dutch musicians (some from Sleez Beez). They played in a cover band that opened the show. This band was put together just for this show. Some of those guys later entered the stage with Zakk. Slash closed the show. I believe his coverband was called "Slash's Bluesball"."

Thanks to Rene for this additionnal information :

Rene Merkelbach (keyboards/backing vocals) : www.skizzo808.com
Barend Courbois (bass) : http://www.barendcourbois.com/
and Jos Zoomer (drums) who used to play in vandenberg (with adrian vandenberg/whitesnake).

The same musicians opened this event together with jack pister (guitar) and andrew elt (sleeze beez). They were not an excisting cover-band but joined for this show only...also  they recorded and sold the vandenberg-song
"burning heart" together for the jason becker-foundation.
The same musicians also performed with andreas kisser from sepultura.
The only guitarist that was allowed to bring his own band was slash, so he brought his slash's blues
